The episode begins with a dramatic scene where Arjun bursts into Kamaal’s room during a police operation to arrest a drug mafia. During the arrest, Arjun is shot. Kamaal, trying to avoid being arrested, offers Arjun a bribe. Arjun angrily rejects the bribe and scolds Kamaal for attempting to corrupt him. Despite managing to arrest Kamaal, Arjun learns that other members of the mafia have escaped with the drugs.
Meanwhile, at home, Karun, a child, asks Mahima for a bedtime story. Although Mahima is frustrated with Karun’s demands, she restrains herself from scolding him. As Karun continues to throw tantrums, Mahima loses her patience and sternly tells him to go to sleep. Kaashvi, another family member, begins singing a Lohri song to calm the atmosphere. However, Karun, annoyed, asks her to stop. Kaashvi calmly responds that she is singing for herself, not for him. Eventually, Karun falls asleep.
Afterwards, Mahima scolds Kaashvi for interfering, accusing her of coming between her and Karun. Kaashvi retorts that Mahima isn’t taking good care of Karun. Mahima asserts that Karun is her son and forbids Kaashvi from talking to him. Kaashvi counters that Karun is also Arjun’s son, and reminds Mahima that she is just a guest in their house. Kaashvi adds that Mahima can only stay for a few more months until the divorce is finalized. She boldly declares that she has confessed her feelings to Arjun, and this time, Mahima won’t be able to interfere in their relationship. Kaashvi asserts that she and Arjun will be together and leaves the conversation.
Later, Aditya inquires about Arjun’s first mission. Kaashvi admits she doesn’t have much information. Concerned, she calls Arjun, who informs her that he has arrested Kamaal, but another criminal, Viraj, has escaped with the drugs. Determined to assist, Kaashvi promises to help Arjun and leaves to join him.
Arjun manages to get a sketch of Viraj. During the interrogation, Kamaal threatens to ruin Arjun’s life, which results in Arjun slapping him in anger. Kaashvi arrives at the scene, worried about Arjun’s injury, and insists he goes to the hospital. Arjun, focused on capturing Viraj, refuses until the mission is complete. Kaashvi then offers to take over the search for Viraj and the drugs, allowing Arjun to get medical attention.
In a twist, Mahima receives a mysterious message and goes to meet her blackmailer, who turns out to be Aditya. Shocked, Mahima listens as Aditya reveals he knows that Mahima switched Kaashvi’s child. He drops a bombshell, revealing that Karun is actually Kaashvi’s son, not Mahima’s. When Mahima questions how Aditya knows this, he demands she destroy all evidence that could reveal the truth to Kaashvi and Arjun. Mahima admits that a doctor, who was an intern at the time, knows the details, indicating that this doctor could be a key to unraveling the truth.
