The episode starts with a very suspenseful scene at the Bose household. Aniruddha, facing a tricky situation, lies to his family, saying that he has been ordered to go to Delhi on the day of his engagement. He claims that because of this, the engagement cannot take place on the scheduled date. This news causes great concern among the family members, who start to worry about how they will manage the situation.
Harshi, one of the family members, becomes suspicious of Aniruddha’s story. She decides to take matters into her own hands by planning to speak directly with Aniruddha’s manager to verify his claim. Despite his internal sadness about the situation, Aniruddha keeps up his pretense, not letting his family know that his real intention is to travel to Kashmir to find Jhanak, who has been kidnapped by Tejas.
Aniruddha expresses his frustration and disdain for his job, suggesting that Arshi negotiate with his boss to postpone his trip for the sake of the engagement. To further convince his family of his commitment, Aniruddha even goes so far as to suggest that he might resign from his job. However, Shubha, another family member, quickly advises him against this idea, reminding him that it’s not easy to find such a prestigious job again, and it would be a mistake to quit over this issue.
Meanwhile, Jhanak reaches Srinagar, Kashmir, and is overcome with emotion as she takes in the beautiful scenery. The sight of Kashmir brings back memories of happier times she spent there with her mother, recalling how wonderful those days were when she enjoyed the company of her friends and neighbors. Feeling a deep sense of nostalgia and longing for those days, Jhanak decides that she doesn’t want to return to Kolkata. She resolves to find a job in Kashmir and build a life there, feeling that without anyone to celebrate her achievements, she doesn’t need prosperity, just peace and contentment.
As Jhanak is being driven, she notices that the police car does not take the road leading to her home, which makes her agitated and anxious. She questions the police officer about their destination, but the kidnapper, disguised as a police officer, reassures her that she will be kept in a government safe house, which is supposedly more secure than her own home. Despite her pleas to be taken home, the kidnappers ignore her requests, heightening her sense of fear and helplessness. Meanwhile, the real police are actively searching for Jhanak, unaware of her exact location.
Upon arriving at the safe house, Jhanak is confronted by Tejas, her kidnapper. Seeing Tejas, she becomes completely terrified. She realizes that Tejas is behind her kidnapping and immediately tries to escape. However, Tejas has anticipated this and has security guards who quickly stop her from running away. Tejas coldly informs Jhanak that this time he will not make any mistakes; he is determined to exact his revenge on her. Jhanak, filled with fury, listens to Tejas as he reveals his malicious intentions. Despite her anger, she understands that she is trapped with no way out.
Tejas continues to insult Jhanak, belittling her relationship with Aniruddha by pointing out that Aniruddha is going to marry Arshi instead. He uses this information to undermine Jhanak’s spirit and confidence. Tejas then threatens Jhanak, saying that if she doesn’t follow his orders, he will kill Aniruddha. He demands that Jhanak agree to marry him in front of the media. If she complies, he promises to let Aniruddha go safely. If she refuses, Aniruddha’s life will be in grave danger. Jhanak is left in a dire predicament, forced to choose between her own freedom and the life of the man she loves.
