The episode begins with a tense atmosphere in the Bose family as Appu refuses to eat following Janak’s departure. Aniruddha asks his aunt to take care of Appu, who is deeply affected by the situation.
Arshi visits Aniruddha’s house to discuss her upcoming engagement. Aniruddha offers her a glass of juice, and as he hands it to her, Arshi notices the ring on his finger—a ring given by Janak. Suspicious, Arshi confronts Aniruddha, suspecting that Janak gave him the ring and that he is hiding it from her.
Arshi demands to know where the ring came from, but Aniruddha refuses to disclose the details, fearing his family will taunt Janak and force him to remove the last memory of her. Aniruddha becomes defensive and evasive, growing rude when Arshi presses him further.
After the tension subsides, they resume discussing the upcoming engagement ceremony, which is only a few days away. Aniruddha, however, feels no enthusiasm for his own marriage. Appu continues to miss Janak, but the elders forbid her from mentioning Janak’s name. The family feels relieved by Janak’s absence, except for Ajanta and Appu, who feel her absence keenly.
Ajanta explains that Janak used to work hard for the family, helping Appu with her education and health. With Janak gone, there is no one to fulfill these roles. Vipasha and Lal search for a new maid, while Tanuja and Shubha disregard Ajanta’s workload in the kitchen. Aniruddha asks Vipasha to help Ajanta, but Vipasha feels insulted. Shubha prefers to order food from outside.
Meanwhile, Arshi goes to a jewelry shop to verify the origin of the ring Aniruddha is wearing. She suspects Janak gave it to him and inquires at the shop. Through the bill and the jeweler’s statement, Arshi confirms her suspicion. She returns home and confronts Aniruddha.
The episode ends with Arshi confronting Aniruddha.
Precap: Jhanak arrives in Kashmir but receives a call from a fake police officer, who persuades her to go with him for her safety. The real police learn about this and confirm that Jhanak has been abducted. Upon hearing the news, Aniruddha decides to go to Kashmir immediately.
