Roman and Marisol’s New Living Arrangement

In episode 5 of Hotel Cocaine, Roman moves his family into Nestor’s mansion. He and Marisol tell Valeria that plumbing issues are the reason for the move. Despite this, Marisol remains anxious about their situation, but Roman reassures her it’s just a security measure. Valeria, on the other hand, quickly feels at home and bonds with her aunt.

Nestor’s Stash House Attack

Roman and Nestor begin their hunt for Yolanda while dealing with the fallout from an attack on one of Nestor’s stash houses. The attack has left Nestor’s men dead and his product stolen. Roman suggests relocating the stash houses and putting a cash bond on Yolanda’s head.

Zulio’s Investigation and Roman’s Plan

Zulio visits Roman at the Mutiny, promising to look into Yolanda. Roman, however, takes matters into his own hands and approaches Jeronimo, pretending to want to sleep with Yolanda. Jeronimo, driven by his ego, gives Roman an address, which turns out to be false.

Burton’s Trouble and Janice’s Help

Burton faces intense interrogation over his sister’s murder, with the lead detective convinced of his guilt. Burton suspects Ray Dorado but lacks evidence. Janice, a friend of Ray’s, offers to help. Ray admits he’s working for powerful individuals and that Connie was killed due to her investigation into the bank. Despite Ray’s reluctance, Janice persuades him to give an anonymous tip to the police. Later, Janice advises Burton to lay low for now.

Valeria’s Dangerous Decision

As Valeria settles into the mansion, her boyfriend persuades her to steal some of Nestor’s cocaine. She takes the drug and uses it with her boyfriend, escalating her risky behavior.

Failed Stakeout and Jeronimo’s Fate

Roman, having received a false address from Jeronimo, is disappointed when the stakeout turns up nothing. Yolanda, angered by Jeronimo’s failure and subsequent arrest, decides to take drastic action. She offers Jeronimo a choice between poison or a gruesome death in prison. Meanwhile, Don Henao is informed about the need to address the Cubans in Miami.

Zulio’s Press Conference and Ray’s Mission

Zulio feels frustrated with the never-ending cycle of drug-related crime. Despite his efforts, Jeronimo’s poisoning prevents him from providing any information. Meanwhile, Ray meets with a congressman, offering financial support for his gubernatorial campaign to gain his favor.

Yolanda’s Appearance and Meeting

Yolanda shows up at the Mutiny, explaining that Jeronimo is no longer a problem and requests a meeting with Nestor. She demands that each party bring four men to discuss terms. Roman convinces Nestor to attend the meeting, but he plans to take out Yolanda from a distance. Unbeknownst to them, Valeria stows away in the van.

The Meeting Turns Violent

At the meeting point, Valeria emerges from the van just as gunfire erupts. Nestor fights to protect her while Roman takes out most of Yolanda’s men. Despite their efforts, Yolanda escapes, and the episode ends with Nestor trying to calm a frightened Valeria.
