Deewani Fame Nitin Goswami; Traveling Never Inspired Me Much

Actor Nitin Goswami, currently starring in Dangal TV’s “Deewani,” is not known for his love of travel. Unlike many who relish exploring new destinations, Nitin’s travels have predominantly been work-related.

Travel for Work Over Leisure

Nitin shared, “Traveling has never really been a big part of my life or lifestyle. Seriously, traveling never inspired me much. I didn’t enjoy going here and there or traveling a lot. Yes, if it is for my work, for my shoots, you could take me anywhere, and I’d be happy. But without work, I don’t want to go anywhere. I thought like this for a long time, so I never traveled just for fun throughout the year.”

Changing Perspectives on Travel

However, Nitin’s perspective on travel has evolved. Now, he feels a desire to explore new places and gain new experiences during his holidays. He remarked, “Now, on holidays, I feel like I should go somewhere. As an actor, when you’re working and your schedule is hectic, you feel like you need holidays, a break, and some free time. But, for me, I never wished for it.”

Unique Travel Experiences

Despite his initial disinterest in travel, Nitin has found joy and different experiences when he does take a break. “Traveling wasn’t an addiction for me, but whenever I took a break and traveled, I felt something different. It feels like you are living a different life apart from your regular life. Whether it’s another country, state, or any open place with a lot of noise, every place has its own unique feeling.”

Companionship in Travel

Nitin prefers to travel with a companion, whether it be family or friends. He shared, “I’ve never traveled alone; I’ve never even gone to watch a movie alone.”

Memorable Trekking Adventures

Reflecting on memorable travel experiences, Nitin recounted his trekking adventures around Lonavala. “It would have been about a year and a half to two years ago when I started trekking. That was the best experience of my life. I trekked around Lonavala to many famous trekking spots, like Kalavantin Durg, which is considered very dangerous, and Prabalgad, among others. I don’t remember all the names, but those were the experiences I had,” he said.

He described the peace and fulfillment he felt during these treks. “I walked up the mountains for 3-4 hours and down for 3-4 hours. The peace I felt inside and the feeling of reaching the top of the mountain and seeing the entire world from up there, with the wind touching your face, is a unique experience. I went trekking in the rain, in the heat, and in the scorching sun. Once, it rained so heavily on the mountains that I had to return. I was trekking to Prabalgad, and I had to come back because of the rain. That experience was very good for me; it gave peace to my mind and was good for my body. The closer you get to nature, the different the feeling is.”

Future Travel Aspirations

Looking ahead, Nitin expressed his desire to visit Assam and other northeastern places, as well as Kolkata. Internationally, he is drawn to Switzerland. “I’ve seen photos, and it looks very beautiful. I’d like to see such places at least once, so that’s my next plan whenever possible,” he said.

Conclusion

Nitin Goswami’s travel story is one of evolving interests. While initially focused solely on work-related travel, he now recognizes the value of leisure travel and the unique experiences it offers. Whether trekking through rugged terrains or planning future trips to scenic destinations, Nitin’s journey illustrates a newfound appreciation for the world beyond his immediate surroundings.
